Fashion Friday: Ready for Fall

Over the past few years, my tastes have started to evolve into really loving the fall fashion season.  I used to be a spring/summer kind of girl, but I’m learning how to layer and have fallen in love with boots, jackets and lean jeans.  Here’s some of my favorites for fall.

My inspiration photo below. Every chic girl in Paris was wearing dark skinny jeans, a slim, boycut navy blazer, flirty blouse, and flats.

For fall, I want to be sporting scarves with absolutely everything. These from Lemlem are all so deliciously beautiful, I don’t know that I could ever pick just one.

I’m really curious to try these Constance moc boots from Lands End Canvas. Yes, THAT Lands End! They’re similar to a J.Crew pair I liked from last year, but at half the price.

Pretty drapey sweater from Down East Basics.

I tried this pretty top from Bailey 44 at Anthro last week and I fell madly in love with it. In a variety of colors and patterns, it’s stretchy and extremely flattering. Size up – it runs small, as does all Bailey 44.

Simon & I have been jonesing for the frames from Warby Parker. These Zagg frames looked really good on.

Finally, I’ll be topping off my look this fall with the Schoolboy blazer by J.Crew. I snapped up the same blazer at the J.Crew outlet and it’s identical to the one currently in stores. The fit is fantastic – slightly shrunken and ridiculously flattering. Dress it up or down – it’s going to last for season after season.  I particularly love it with a striped tee underneath.

Love it all! Navy blazer, new fun flats, and a pair of Frye boots are my fall must haves.

Love your fall picks! I wish the scarves weren’t so pricey. They are very pretty!

If the French girls are wearing navy blazers, I need one! About how much are they going for at the outlet? I still haven’t made a trip there.

They’re definitely cheaper at the outlet than they are in-store. I can’t remember what the number was, but they also are always putting stuff an extra 20% off.
