Thank you to all of you commenters! We really love comments, and I wanted to go ahead and post my reply here in case you didn’t go check back on the comments on the last post.

All of you who commented on my previous post had the same idea: built-in shelves! And as much as we would like to do that, there are a couple of prohibitive things that keep us from doing that. First is cost – it’s just not in the stars for us right now. But also, there’s a vent in the wall there that we can’t cover up. So. On to plan B…  Hence the thought of a console bookshelf….

Maybe my friend Craigslist can hook me up with something. Hmmm…
