I mentioned that we were supposed to have a little mini photoshoot here on Saturday. We ended up moving to Sunday evening, and it was a fun process to watch! The photographer shot some pretty fantastic shots. She let me see some on her laptop, and I was pretty impressed.

The model was a gorgeous redhead named Elizabeth, who was super sweet as well. She sat for  some really amazing photos! The dresses are all by Kayne Gillaspie, from Project Runway Season 3.

The second the girls got here, Jude was all, “What those girls doin’, Mama?” Then he launched into this elaborate … well, all I can call it is a chicken dance. It was the craziest thing. He was so amped about the entire thing.

Then it was bedtime, and he didn’t make a peep. He really didn’t want to go, but I could tell he was tired.

Man, those lights are awesome. I really want some. It was like the sun itself was sitting in the front living room drinking an iced tea. I swear to you it was that bright. It was like that moment in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation when Chevy Chase turns on the crazy Christmas lights and it beams light into the neighbor’s house. I guarantee you the older ladies in the culdesac were looking out the windows wondering what the heck we’re up to now.

I didn’t get many photos. They may or may not come back to shoot more. It depends on if Kayne likes them, I guess.

This one’s my favorite – that red hair! She’s got the same haircolor as Joan from Mad Men!

All in all, a fun little process to watch!
