Trend: Lumberjack

I’m kinda cracking up as I write this post because in my head, when I picture a lumberjack, I see, well, the Brawny man. Not exactly uber-girly, huh? But I am liking the way this wintery trend is appearing — although PLEASE do not wear all of these together! Pick one – or MAYBE two to keep from looking like, well, the Brawny man.

    I am loving the country-feel of the plaid. I can achieve relaxed, athletic, and somehow girly all with a little flannel!

    Dave has this really great red plaid shirt that I’ve considered wearing with leggings and tall boots. Can decide if I’m hip enough to pull that off. Hmmmm.

    I haven’t rocked the Lumberjack look yet myself, but my son went to daycare this AM in a charcoal turtle, red lumberjack fleece, and sweet grey skinnies. Hmmm, looks like I need to spend more time on my outfits and less on his!
