Fashion Friday: Chambray ‘n Stripes

I’m really inspired these days by chambray and stripes. Sometimes together, sometimes not.
Here are some of my recent faves!

I’m itching to get my hands on this Maritime dress from J.Crew to try it on. It looks so easy peasy for summer. I’m also loving the Maritime blazer. It’s in a tee shirt material and it would go with absolutely everything.

I absolutely adore this little cropped stripe jacket from Shop Mamie. I think this would be awesome over a maxi dress or even a little pencil skirt. It’s a steal at $44.

I love the look of a full skirt with a button-down blouse. Although I won’t be wearing mine unbuttoned to my navel, thankssomuch.

One way to get that full-skirted look is this awesome olive-colored skirt from Asos. LOVE it.

Or maybe you prefer your nautical stripes in skirt form. Again, an easy shape in a cute knit. Love. from Anthropologie.

I love that these pants are available on Etsy, of all places. Made-to-measure is easier than ever to find!

Rachel – I just have to ask, blogger to blogger – do you upload pics from Pinterest or save then upload. Would love to know how to skip the saving step. Thank you!

Well, it depends. Most of the time, I host all the photos i take over at Flickr. But Flickr has kinda made me mad by switching up their way of doing things. They added a few extra steps to grabbing a photo’s URL and I HATE it. Now, when I grab other photos from other sites, I grab them with Pinterest and sometimes Skitch, depending on the way a website is built. On Pinterest, you can can easily grab the HTML code to drop it in your blog.
