Lately I’ve been collecting photos of what I’d like to call sleeping nooks. I think it stems from my childhood love of small spaces. Kids love to be in a space that is just your size. And so even now as an adult, I’d love to just curl up in one of these little enclosed bunks and snooze away with a good book in hand.
While this one is a wee bit, erm, country for me, I do love the idea.
Maybe the “adult” version of this is a giant canopied bed. Mmmmmm.
The curtains on this one just make it for me.
Maybe someday when we have a bazillion dollars and we can have some kind of vacation home in an exotic locale, I can request bunk beds built in like this for the kiddos (and for me too).
