Family Photos

I swore I’d never be that person showing off photos of their babies nonstop, but I so totally am. I think he’s the coolest thing since sliced bread and I just love looking at him. Back at Thanksgiving, our photographer friend Reseth Oberg shot a precious photo of Jude and then in May for my birthday, she presented me with a gorgeous framed photograph of the same shot. I AM IN LOVE. I mean, I literally cannot stop staring at it. It hangs on the wall in our family room and it just makes me smile. Jude in his little pilot cap, with mismatched outfit. I LOVE IT.

So we were just so in love with the photo that we HAD to have her do our family photos. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. This past year, in lieu of giving each other gifts at Christmas (on Simon’s side of the family), we gave ourselves a family photoshoot. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Reseth teams with Justin Voight to offer what they call “Combined Creativity.” The result is gorgeous lighting and just a really fun time. These are just a handful of our photos – you can see more in my Flickr stream here. It’s really hard just to pick a few of these -they are all so precious to me!

Ok, Mr. Too Cool for School…

Piper’s face in this photo is HILARIOUS.

Thank you, Reseth and Justin! You guys did a phenomenal job!

Rachel, I don’t know when I have seen such photos of faces. The lighting of each face is perfect except one of Jude that might need to be darkened just a tad. I don’t know how they did it. Really good. Plus the colors and the crispness. Same thing. Just right. thanks for sharing them. Jude is something else. I think he knows he is loved.
