I’m really convinced that having a garage sale is like having a baby. Right after you have the garage sale, you are convinced you will NEVER EVER do this again. I mean, that was awful. Who wants to do that? Sure, you’ve got cash in your pocket, but really. That was a lot of work.
And then, enter the rosy fog of memory. Hmm. Maybe it wasn’t so bad. Maybe it was actually (dare I say it?) fun! The pain of dealing with those 6am early shoppers wasn’t such a bad thing after all.
So that’s where I’m at. Simon has talked me into having another garage sale. Except this time it’s going to be in our front yard and the iced tea will be flowin’ a-plenty.
