I wish I could be getting to Paris before this new exhibition ends at the Louvre. Unusual and altogether interesting, it documents the way the Mona Lisa and other priceless oeuvres from the museum’s collection were saved from demise at the hands of the Nazis in WWII. Uncle Kermit, if you’re reading, you guys need to go see this one!

Check out the entire article at USA Today here. It’s a really good read. Can you imagine having the Mona Lisa hanging in your bedroom, under your care to keep it safe from the Nazis? Amazing.
